Warehouse Inventory Driver

SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs the safe and secure transportation of materials to and from CFI corporate locations, Westgate Resorts locations and its vendors using a company tractor with trailer, straight truck, pickup truck or van. Performs tasks using manual and or mechanical equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, dollies or other mechanical warehouse equipment in a warehousing operation or large storage facility. Performs related work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, vans and or containers onto or from pallets, trays, racks or related devices.
Pick up and deliver CFI /Westgate Resorts Ltd. company assets, property and inventory to and from corporate office departments, resort receiving locations and or corporate executive homes.
Prepare shipments to prevent damage during shipment or movement.
Stack or palletize items according to size, shape, code or related characteristics.
Works and communicates with internal and external clients and customers to meet their needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner. Committed to quality service.
Responsible for obtaining customer signature and date upon delivery.
Checks and inspects vehicles before and after usage and reports all problems to management.
Service and perform minor repairs to equipment as required to maintain serviceable operating conditions.
Perform custodial work in maintaining the company vehicle and the warehouse
Attend meetings and support process improvement initiatives
Assist in pulling orders, counting inventory and or other warehouse related task when needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a current driver's license; one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to inside/outside customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must have knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified Fork lift Driver (must obtain within 60 days of hire)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
